Today Gelly moved out of the ICU and into the Cardiac Wing. At this point, it looks like she’ll be staying at the hospital for a few more days because her right lung looked a little “wet” but is clearing up.
She had McDonalds for the first time today and declared her “happy nuggets” the best she’s ever had! :)
Gelly is still missing Witty and Witty is still missing Gelly. It is planned that Witty will visit Gelly tomorrow...a dream come true for both of them! Four weeks from now, Witty will undergo heart surgery…please continue to pray for her as well.
Gelly is doing so well because the Lord is answering prayers. All the glory goes to God!

And I'm sure she can't wait to see her little sister. That will be better then any medicine they could give her!

Every day I wake up thinking about Gelly (and praying for her). I'm so happy that today's news is good. I will be anxiously waiting to hear how the Witty visit goes. I can't imagine how much they're missing each other, and I know they'll be thrilled to be together again!
P.S. - mentioning McD's - are you getting sick of McDonalds yet?? I sure did when I was there with Kimi! With just McDs, and the cafeteria with typical hospital food, not many choices. We walked over to the food court up by 10th St. once, just to get something different.
